Pension for missing Employee

TO GET A PENSION/FAMILY PENSION IN THE CASE OF MISSING EMPLOYEE/PENSIONER/FAMILY PENSIONER

A) In the case of missing employee:

(i) To get Family Pension/Gratuity:

Family member should apply after 6 months from the date of disappearance to the Director of Accounts and Treasuries, through Head of Office where he/she served last, along with a copy of the report/FIR or Daily Dairy or General Diary Entry (GDE) stating that this person has not been traced despite all efforts made by them.

(ii) To get Death Gratuity and Family Pension on enhanced rate:

Family member should apply to the Director of Accounts and Treasuries through the office where Government Servant last served, with conclusive proof of death or after 7 years from the date of police report.

Not applicable in the case of those who disappear after committing fraud/crime etc.

(B) In the case of missing Pensioner/Family Pensioner

(i) To get Family pension:

Family member should apply after 6 months from the date of disappearance to the Director of Accounts and Treasuries, through Head of Office where he/she served last, along with a copy of the report/FIR or Daily Dairy or General Diary Entry (GDE) stating that this person has not been traced despite all efforts made by them.

(ii) To get Family Pension on enhanced rate:

Family member should apply to the Director of Accounts and Treasuries through the office where Government Servant last served, with conclusive proof of death or after 7 years from the date of police report.
